Social Responsibility
Truro Cathedral was built by the people of Cornwall and is at the heart of the Cornish community. The cathedral interacts with and provides support and advocacy to various groups in the communities it serves. Its long-term objective is to increase such engagement. There are many exhibitions, events and services held throughout the year covering issues such as homelessness, climate change and addiction, and marking important occasions, such as Holocaust Memorial Day. Keep an eye on our What’s On page.
As well as working to become recognised as a place where issues of justice and reconciliation are explored, Truro Cathedral is addressing the issue of operating in an environmentally responsible manner.
You can read more about social responsibility at Truro Cathedral and its aims and long-term objectives in our vision document.
