Drone Footage of Truro Cathedral

Amateur drone photographer, Gary Eaton, took some wonderful photos and videos of Truro Cathedral recently using his drone.

Talking about his experience, Gary said, "Since moving to Cornwall in 2000, it's been my passion to explore the county with all its beautiful coastline, historic sites and quaint churches often taking photos to show family and friends. In 2015, I purchased my first drone and with very little experience but a lot of will, I was amazed at the images I produced seeing all I had seen before but from a new perspective. I wanted to learn more so I took my A2C of C Drone Licence which taught me more about the correct etiquette and rules required by the CAA. Feeling more confident I then began to acquire the necessary permissions from third parties to drone the churches I loved.

My ultimate goal was always to film Truro Cathedral and as you can see my dream came true. I hope everyone enjoys the footage as much as I enjoyed filming it."
