Choral Evensong in Commemoration of VE Day
Truro will be hosting a series of events for the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. This historic occasion will commemorate and celebrate the end of the World War 2 in Europe, 80 years ago. This includes a proclamation at the cathedral steps of High Cross, and the lighting of the Beacon on High Cross in the evening with a spoken tribute and singing.

A special Choral Evensong in Commemoration of VE Day will also be held in the cathedral, sung by Truro Cathedral Choir on the feast of St Michael Protector of Cornwall. Music will include
