Maundy Thursday The Chrism Mass

The Chrism Eucharist is the occasion at which the Diocese come together in worship and at which bishops, priests and deacons renew their ordination vows. In recent years, Readers have also come to the service to have their ministries affirmed. Traditionally, it is also the service where the Bishop blesses the holy oils used in the Church’s ministry.
