Remember our Child
Every year, Truro Cathedral welcomes parents, carers, family members and friends to the ‘Remember our Child Service.’ This important annual service offers an opportunity for anyone affected by the loss of children of all ages and with those who also know that pain. The service uses song, prayer, silence, music, and the lighting of candles to express sadness and hope. All are welcome to this poignant pastoral service, those of faith, those of different faiths and anyone simply looking for support. This service has taken place in Cornwall’s cathedral for about 30 years, and Bishop Graham James will lead this year. Refreshments will be served in the Chapter House after the service.
If you wish your child's name to be read out during the Remember Our Child service, submit details via the form below. Please note even if you have submitted your child's name in previous years please submit to be included in this year's service.
Please note that the deadline for online submissions is Friday 25 April.
There will be an option to submit a name via a paper form. The paper forms will be available on a table at the back of the cathedral before the service starts.
This service will be live-streamed on this page at 14:00 and the replay will be available to watch on this page after the service has finished. If you have any problems viewing the live stream or replay, please visit our YouTube channel
