This famous work is a dramatization of the final days of the life of Jesus Christ. It features some of Bach’s most beautiful and poignant chorales and solos, as well as exciting choruses, held together in a story-telling framework that you can easily follow as the performance will be in English.

Set for Double Choir and Double Orchestra, and six soloists, this monumental work will be performed by Three Spires Singers and Orchestra for the first time since 2007, an occasion not to be missed. The conductor will be Truro Cathedral's director of music, James Anderson-Besant.
