Blessing the Garden of Remembrance

One way that people locally in Truro remember those who gave their lives in conflicts past, is to plant a cross with the name of the person on it in the Royal British Legion, Garden of Remembrance. This is created and tended by the legion and is traditionally blessed each year following the main 10am service on the Sunday before Remembrance Sunday. This is not a closed event, all welcome to come along and take the opportunity to remember, with those who will gather on the green area at the East end of the cathedral, at 11.45am on Sunday 6th November.
